It is the policy of Sacred Heart University to comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and executive orders prohibiting discrimination towards students, faculty staff, and persons served in the program’s clinics. This includes prohibition on discrimination based on any category prohibited by applicable law but not limited to age, citizenship, disability, ethnicity, gender identity, genetic information, national origin, race, religion, sex, sexual orientation and veteran status, religious preference or disabled veteran or Vietnam Era status. This includes access to admission, treatment in employment, educational programs or clinical activities as required by Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Age Discrimination Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, or any other classification protected under state or federal law, or city ordinance.
