Academics

Sacred Heart’s flexible program offers graduate courses on weekday evenings that can be completed on a full- or part-time basis. In our Master of Arts in Teaching Music program or Five-Year Music Education Program, you’ll benefit from top tier professional preparation as well as the Farrington College of Education’s forward-thinking and culturally responsive approach to preparing teachers. Music offerings include:

  • Master of Arts in Teaching Music
  • Five-Year Music Education Program BA + MAT
    • Apply during sophomore year to become certified in music education
  • BA in Music 
    • Concentration in music performance or production
  • Minor in Music

Performing Arts Programs

Benefit from a wide array of instrumental and choral ensembles open to all students and majors across the University. Our performing arts programs will develop your passion to perform and help you to continue to grow as an artist. Opportunities are available in choral as well as band & orchestra.
