Building your personal and professional network is one of the biggest benefits of a college education. Each of your “next steps” will require you to know somebody.

Networking Events

Check the calendar and read your weekly Welch Announcement email for information on our networking events, how to sign up, and what to expect at each one. The Welch Experience hosts several events throughout the year, including an ice cream social event with our Pre-fall program, the Annual Networking Etiquette Reception in November, and the Welch Cup golf tournament in April. All events are open to every student within the Welch College of Business & Technology, and are on a first-come, first-served basis with students earning their participation through digital badging on Suitable.

Daily Networking

In addition to our big networking events, the study lounge on the first floor of the East Building (just outside the Finance Lab) is restocked with snacks, coffees, teas, and hot chocolate every weekday morning. Students are encouraged to hang out, study, and network with faculty, staff, and other students!
