URI Application: Form C

Summer research project fellowships should be carried out in a maximum of 4 weeks. Stipends between $500-$1,500 will be awarded, at an hourly rate of $9.375. For example, $1,500 will be awarded for 40 hours/week for 4 weeks, and $750 will be awarded for 20 hours/week for 4 weeks. Additional funding for project supplies (itemized below) up to $500 will also be awarded. Students must be enrolled in a major within the College of Arts & Sciences and have an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher to be eligible for funding. Applications will not be considered if they are not written in a way that is accessible to a broad, educated audience.
