What is a big question that you think the liberal arts help us to explore?

How do different areas of study intersect and relate to one another?

What is one favorite quote or idea of yours from any class you've taken in the foundational core?

The idea that we are hesitant to be open-minded and need to challenge our deep-rooted thoughts/opinions/values to grow—a concept we covered in my intro to ethics class.

How do you hope your studies will help you make a positive impact in your community?

I hope to become more involved in mental health awareness and advocacy and suicide prevention.

What are you most excited about for the future of the Pioneer Scholars?

To collaborate with other cohorts.

Looking ahead, what kind of impact do you hope to have after graduation?

I hope to use the professional, personal and spiritual growth that I gain from my Sacred Heart experience to help others grow.
