What is a big question that you think the liberal arts help us to explore? 

I think a very good general question is “What does it take to be a well rounded individual?” 

What is one favorite quote or idea of yours from any class you've taken in the foundational core? 

First-Year Writing Seminar with Mike Spry reminded me the importance of enjoying what it is that you write. It allows you to be your most creative self.

How do you hope your studies will help you make a positive impact in your community? 

No matter where I end up (Biochemistry, etc), I want to be able to make a positive impact on this world. 

What are you most excited about for the future of the Pioneer Scholars? 

I am excited to further explore ideas that will make me into the best person I can be. 

Looking ahead, what kind of impact do you hope to have after graduation? 

In a broad sense, I want whatever I end up doing to help others. All my life I have enjoyed being a positive impact on others. No matter how much I’ve matured, or changed, I simply wish to hold that part of me close.
