What is a big question that you think the liberal arts help us to explore? 

How we as students can make a difference by being well informed in various fields of study. 

What is one favorite quote or idea of yours from any class you've taken in the foundational core? 

“I think, therefore I am.” - René Descartes This quote stems from older traditions which suggests that truth relies within the individual. Meaning we as people are more open, rational, and connected to the outside world. 

How do you hope your studies will help you make a positive impact in your community? 

I hope through my studies I can use my skills and understanding to better relate to others and the world around me. 

What are you most excited about for the future of the Pioneer Scholars? 

I am excited to work together as a cohort and make a difference through our events and capstone. I am thrilled to make connections with my peers and those in networking events. 

Looking ahead, what kind of impact do you hope to have after graduation? 

After graduation I hope to inspire others through my passion and positivity. I want to make the world brighter each and every day.
