What is a big question that you think the liberal arts help us to explore?

How can we use our knowledge from different disciplines and studies to build a better society today?

What is one favorite quote or idea of yours from any class you've taken in the foundational core?

I recently heard this saying: “Fair does not always mean equal.” This made me truly realize how complicated real fairness can be and why laws must consider the context of the situation.

How do you hope your studies will help you make a positive impact in your community?

I want to use the skills that I learn about politics and law to help people who don’t always have a voice be treated fairly.

What are you most excited about for the future of the Pioneer Scholars?

To meet more people who care about making a difference. We definitely push each other to grow.

Looking ahead, what kind of impact do you hope to have after graduation?

I hope to use the skills I learned to help people and make an impact.
