How do we learn to recognize the humanity in people whose lives look nothing like our own?

When we witness injustice but remain untouched by it, are we innocent or simply privileged observers?

How do you hope your studies will help you make a positive impact in your community?

I hope that through my work and writing I can share with my community the beautiful parts of the world we live in, as well as spreading awareness about the evils we face as a society.

What are you most excited about for the future of the Pioneer Scholars?

I am most excited to work with a group of remarkable individuals and combine our minds to do and create amazing things.

Looking ahead, what kind of impact do you hope to have after graduation?

I hope to turn curiosity into action and leave behind communities that are more connected than I found them.
