The courses are hosted on the campus of John Cabot University in Rome. Students from Sacred Heart University live in JCU housing and are eligible for food plans and activities offered by our partner University in Rome.

The setting of Rome offers a multitude of opportunities for students to engage with the Catholic Intellectual Tradition through the ancient Roman sites, the many masterpieces of art throughout the city, and the access to the Vatican. Tours of the Vatican Museum, the ancient sites, as well as local neighborhoods and places of interest are included in the "CIT in Rome" experience. In addition, students will have opportunities to expand their study abroad experience by the easy access to other European cities while studying in Rome.

Visit the website designed by previous CIT202 students studying in Rome to learn more about this unique experience.

Applications for the Summer sessions are due in February through Office of Global Affairs. The course runs during one or both of the summer sessions for five weeks. Check the most recent information on how to apply and program offerings on the Study Abroad website.
