Sacred Heart University aspires to achieve prominence through innovative teaching and learning while cultivating a campus community that is recognized as caring and creative. In keeping with our vision, Sacred Heart is responding to the growing addiction crisis that we face as a nation. Recognizing the need for concrete action of healing in support of students in recovery, all proceeds from the 2018 Discovery Gala supported housing and programs dedicated to students facing addiction.
The University’s 29th Annual Discovery Gala honored Bill Mitchell and his tireless advocacy for recovery-related causes.
Through the support of countless donors, the Gala raised over $1.1 million for a new collegiate recovery program. The evening’s entertainment was provided by The Midtown Men.
