SHU Shuttle Service Test Page
The SHU shuttle service makes it easy for students to get from campus to campus and connect with the surrounding area, all at no cost. It also provides a link to local transportation including Amtrak, Metro North Railroad and the Port Jefferson Ferry. Make weekend plans with friends to shop, grab a meal or catch a show in Downtown Fairfield and the shuttle can take you there!

Our shuttles operate on a fixed schedule and we work hard to stay on time. However, delays may occasionally occur due to traffic, assisting passengers during boarding or required driver shift changes and breaks. These factors can result in brief pauses in service. We encourage riders to plan ahead and allow extra travel time when using the shuttles.

The shuttle service runs like a city bus; there are scheduled stops and drivers cannot deviate from the schedule. To to avoid missing the shuttle, we ask all students to check the schedule and download the TransLoc app. Please understand we are striving to provide the best service for all students. If a shuttle was sent back to pick up one student, it may result in the shuttle getting off schedule which would leave other students waiting at stops.
No. However, the Transit Shuttle can take you to the Bridgeport Transit Station where you can take the MTA, bus or Long Island Ferry.
