Thank you for your interest in the Undergraduate Nursing Program. The Sacred Heart traditional BSN program is not a transfer friendly major. Sacred Heart’s Undergraduate Nursing Program has grown tremendously over the past few years, which resulted in reaching our program capacity. We are unable to accept transfer applications until further notice.
Please note that Sacred Heart University does not have a second-degree program for the BSN. Students who have a bachelor’s degree in an area other than nursing should seek a second-degree BSN program.
We have created a new partnership with St. Vincent's College in Bridgeport, CT. You can get your RN degree at St. Vincent's College and then transfer to SHU for our online only RN to BSN Degree.
Please contact the St. Vincent's College admissions office to learn more (475-210-5516). If you already have the RN degree, please call (877-791-7181) to learn more about applying for the online RN to BSN degree.
This is all the information we can provide at this time about our traditional BSN degree. Any applications will be withdrawn. We wish you all the best in your career going forward.
