Jonathan joined Sacred Heart University in August 2013 as a clinical physical therapist and clinical instructor in PT 631 - Evaluation and Intervention I. Prior to joining Sacred Heart, Jonathan was at Duke University where he completed the Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy Fellowship.  The fellowship program provided Jonathan with invaluable mentorship by expert clinicians in the area of orthopedic manual physical therapy.  Upon completion of the program Jonathan assumed a clinical faculty position within the fellowship program as well as continuing his roles as a clinician and teacher assistant in Musculoskeletal Practice Management and Manual Therapy Elective lectures within the Duke DPT program.

He is board certified as an orthopedic physical therapy specialist by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialists and a fellow with the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists. His area of specialty care is with patients that have spinal pathology. While at Duke Jonathan provided point of care physical therapy services in Duke’s Spine Clinic working closely with the orthopedic spine surgeons.

Jonathan is an active member with the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy and the American Physical Therapy Association where he serves as a volunteer for the program services committee and participates in the hip special interest group.
