Chemistry StudentsAmerican Chemical Society

The student affiliate Chapter of the American Chemical Society is very active in bringing science to the community and bringing Sacred Heart closer with the chemical community. The chapter participates in outreach programs with local schools that involve everything from performing simple experiments with kids to judging high school science fairs. Around campus we engage students with guest speakers, fundraisers, and science related events that are not only educational, but fun!

"SHU ACS is truly a great club to be involved in. It looks very good on a resume to be apart of a national organization like the American Chemical Society. My favorite activity by far is volunteering at the John Winthrop School- the kids are so fun and love science." -Renee Russo, Class of 2019
