Sacred Heart University will host “Can the Laity Help Save the Church?: A Panel Discussion” on Saturday, March 23, 8:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the West Campus Guest House, 3135 Easton Turnpike, Fairfield. The keynote address will be presented by Michael W. Higgins, distinguished professor of Catholic thought at Sacred Heart University. The event moderator will be Nancy A. Dallavalle associate professor of religious studies at Fairfield University. Panelists include Dawn Eden Goldstein, assistant professor of dogmatic theology, Holy Apostles College and Seminary, Fr. Robert Kinnally, pastor of St. Aloysius Parish, New Canaan, Janet K. Ruffing, professor in the Practice of Spirituality and Ministerial Leadership, Yale Divinity School, and Eleanor Sauers, parish life coordinator, St. Anthony of Padua Church, Fairfield.
