The Isabelle Farrington College of Education's Diversity Committee and the Department of Mathematics present "The Color of Time" with guest speaker Abe Markman, author of the book by the same name, on Monday, October 15, 5-6:30 p.m. in the West Campus west building's third-floor Midway/section M. Abe Markman’s perspective on social justice will entertain, enlighten and inspire. For most of his 92 years, Abe Markman has committed his life to social activism, which began in college and when he met his future wife, Charlotte, an African-American from an upper-middle class southern family. His life, rich with the tapestry of the politics and unrelenting cultural change of a turbulent time, is documented in his book, The Color of Time.
