The Class of 2018 FTMA Showcase: Screening and Staged Readings will take place on Sunday, December 2, at 1 p.m. in the Martire Theater (E-145). Films will include: Black Box, directed by Deanna Pedone. A woman is haunted by her aunt, but it’s the challenge of pursuing her own dreams that haunts her. Submerged, directed by Carly-Augustis Kokoni. A man struggles with taking his own life when he is brought back into a memory, untimately deciding his fate. Elvis, directed by Connor Rog and Matthew Valade. Dave, unable to move past the death of his dog and best friend, Elvis, does whatever it takes to get him back, in the form of a latch-hook portrait. Through this trying journey he learns to love and let go. Presented by the film and television master’s program at Sacred Heart University. Reception to follow in the Martire Forum.
