CURTIS Week Program Receives Grant from Enterprise

Sacred Heart University has received a $1,000 grant for its efforts with the Community Understanding and Reflection Through Inner-city Service (CURTIS) Week program. The grant was provided by the Enterprise Holdings Foundation, a private holding company that exists as the parent company of car rental companies Enterprise Rent-A-Car. The grant recognizes the efforts made by students and faculty during CURTIS Week. Named after the founder of Sacred Heart, Bishop Walter W. Curtis, the week allows students to experience the urban issues of poverty, racism and immigration on a first-hand level.
