The Doctor of Business Administration in Finance Program will present “Financial Markets’ Volatility and Macroeconomic Uncertainty” on Friday, December 7, at 2 p.m. at Sacred Heart University’s West Campus (west building W141), 3135 Easton Turnpike in Fairfield. Guest speakers will include Bluford Putnam, Chief Economist and Managing Director at CME Group who will present his talk “Risk of Federal Reserve Over-Tightening: Appreciating the Interaction of the Economy with the Shape of the Yield Curve,” Katina Stefanova, Founder and CEO of Marto Capital who will present her talk “Volatility and Uncertainty,” and Victor de la Peña, Professor of Statistics, Columbia University who will present his talk “New Foundations of Probability with Applications to Finance.” Welch College of Business Dean John Chalykoff will present the welcome remarks and Professor of Economics Lucjan Orlowski will moderate the seminar.
