The John F. Welch College of Business will present a lecture with Brian Hamilton, co-founder and chairman of the financial information company, Sageworks, on Wednesday, March 20, at 7 p.m. in the Schine Auditorium.

Hamilton is an original architect of the Sageworks' artificial intelligence technology, FIND, which is used by approximately 700 financial institutions and 5,000 CPA firms to do financial analysis of privately-held companies. He is currently a guest columnist for Forbes and Inc.com. Brian also oversees Inmates to Entrepreneurs, a community outreach program focused on teaching ex-offenders to start low-capital businesses. Sageworks’ data and applications are used by thousands of accounting firms and financial institutions across North America. Sageworks provides risk-management solutions to financial institutions and financial analysis and benchmarking applications to accounting firms and private companies. The company has been named to the Inc. 500 list of the fastest growing, privately held companies in the U.S. and to the Deloitte Technology Fast 500.
