SHU Receives Bank of America Grant

Sacred Heart University has received a grant of $5,000 from the Bank of America Charitable Foundation for the Bank of America Scholars Program: A Mentoring & Retention Program for Low- to Moderate-Income Undergraduate Students. This follows a $15,000 grant from the bank last year.

“We would like to thank Bank of America for its continued support of Sacred Heart University, said President John J. Petillo. “Helping individuals obtain the education and training they need for 21st-century jobs is critical to Connecticut’s economic growth. That’s one reason we’re proud to partner with Bank of America to provide opportunities for our students to succeed.”

In 2012, the Bank of America Charitable Foundation gave more than $2,785,632 to help local nonprofit community organizations develop and grow.
