SHU Athletes Speak to High School Students

Two Sacred Heart University student-athletes recently spoke to 225 high school students at the New Haven Athletic Center at Hillhouse High School. Junior Annie Dreher (softball) and senior Shane Foley (lacrosse) talked with students about the transition from high school to college athletics. The high school student-athletes were from the Southern Connecticut Conference. Each attending high school student-athlete was a team captain representing his or her school. After the general session, Dreher and Foley split the group into smaller groups and answered specific questions about their respective sports.
