Greenwich Hospital President and CEO Frank Corvino to Speak at SHU

Frank A. Corvino, president and CEO of Greenwich Hospital, will speak on “The Future of the American Healthcare System” at Sacred Heart University.  This event, which is free and open to the public, will take place in the Schine Auditorim on Thursday, October 20 at 7pm.  The talk is sponsored by the Jack Welch College of Business and the College of Health Professions.

During his 20-year tenure as president and CEO of Greenwich Hospital, Frank A. Corvino has been at the forefront of healthcare innovation in such areas of patient safety, integrative medicine, wellness programs, care for the aging and the “green” movement.  Corvino, who also serves as executive vice president of the Yale New Haven Health System, has been a vocal advocate of “true” reform that confronts problems systemic in U.S. healthcare, such as the shortage of primary care physicians and tort reform.
