Luxembourg Campus Hosts Conference on the Euro

Sacred Heart University's Luxembourg campus held a panel discussion about the euro on November 3. Speakers included Jacques Santer, former prime minister and president of the European Commission, speaking about “The Euro: Political Past & Future”; Thanos Skouras, professor of Economics at Athens University, discussing “The Euro Seen from the South”; and Alfred Steinherr, academic director at SHU’s Luxembourg campus, presenting his views on “The Euro Seen from the North.” The conference, organized in collaboration with BGL BNP Paribas and the American Chamber of Commerce, was hosted by the BGL Bank.
