Whether it was during Orientation, Welcome Week, a class, or a meeting with your Mentor, as a first-year student you were told what was required of you and what steps you needed to take to get through your first semester in college. Many different support programs are offered to first year students to introduce them to college and help ease the transition from high school. Our goal, of course, is to make sure that you have the best experience possible at SHU.

Well, before you know it, YOU are going to be a Sophomore! As you begin your second semester we want to help you focus on who you are and what you want to be so you can establish and plan your goals for the future. It is time to declare your major, begin working on your resume, inquire about different internships that interest you, or consider a study abroad program. While we understand that you may not need as much assistance as you did last semester, we wanted to let you know that we are still here to provide support and guidance. This is the beginning of your Sophomore Year Experience!
