The Sacred Heart University Concert Band (MU-136) performs varied repertoire from Symphonic Band and Wind Ensemble literature. The University Concert Band performs traditional as well as contemporary works, and is active in commissioning new works for band.  Membership is open to any student at Sacred Heart University, with approval of the Director.  University Concert Band meets Monday and Thursday evenings from 7:45pm-9:45pm in the Fall and Spring semesters. The University Concert Band gives regular performance on and off campus throughout the year.  

University Concert Band can can be taken for one credit, or for those over the full-time limit, registering for 0 credits is possible.  University Concert Band can be applied toward the Music Minor.
