The Greek community at Sacred Heart University consists of a group of diversified men and women belonging to 9 different fraternities and sororities. Our Greek community provides its members with opportunities for growth and excellence in academic, leadership, service learning, and social arenas. The Sacred Heart University Greek Senate serves as the governing council for the entire Greek community.
Greek Senate is composed of two elected representatives from each organization and the Greek Life Judicial Board Chair. The meetings are facilitated by the Student Government Vice President for Greek Life and are advised by the Director of Greek Life and Leadership Programs.
It is Greek Senate's goal to better unify the different organizations, by planning educational, social events and service projects that bring Greek Life, and the campus as a whole, together.
