RESIDENCE HALLS
Elizabeth Ann Seton Hall
Seton Hall is the largest hall on campus and houses 435 first year students in double and triple rooms.  Each room is equipped with a micro-fridge unit. Seton Hall creates an active living environment for its residents through various educational and social programs throughout the year.  Each floor is equipped with kitchen and laundry facilities, as well as a open and dynamic environment that encourages first year students to meet each other, teach each other, and forge friendships that will last the next four years and beyond.  Learn more about St. Elizabeth Ann Seton here!

Thomas Merton Hall
Merton Hall houses 340 first year students in double and triple rooms equipped with a micro-fridge units. Merton Hall features a common lounge on the first floor where students can study or relax and meet new people.  A full kitchen is also provided on floors two through six, each with a microwave, stove, dishwasher and full-size refrigerator.  Along with its neighboring building, Seton Hall, Merton is located at the heart of central campus, and affords easy accessibility to all of SHU's campus resources.  Learn more about Thomas Merton here!

Angelo Roncalli Hall
First opened in the Fall of 1999, Roncalli Hall is located on Park Avenue and is home to 390 freshmen and sophomore residents as well as the home to one of FLIK's services, the Roncalli Hall Grill.  Roncalli Hall offers suite-style living, with each suite offering a kitchenette, study lounge and comfortable living space that enables students to find a balance between privacy and interaction, studying and socializing, independence and being part of a community.  Learn more about Angelo Roncalli here!

Christian Witness Commons
Christian Witness Commons (CWC) is the newest addition to the Sacred Heart Universities residential facilities. It houses almost exclusively sophomores and consists of three buildings: Jean Donovan Hall, Oscar Romero Hall and Dorothy Day Hall. CWC is home to 403 residents as well as the home to one of FLIK's services, the Holy Grounds coffee shop and a fitness center located in Donovan Hall. Christian Witness Commons offers suite-style living, with each suite offering a kitchenette, study lounge, and comfortable living space that gives sophomore students greater independence while still keeping them connected to SHU's campus.  Learn more about the CWC namesakes here: Jean Donovan; Oscar Romero; Dorothy Day.

Scholars Commons
Located on Northwest edge of campus, Scholars Commons consists of four buildings: Augustine Hall, Thomas Aquinas Hall, Theresa of Avila Hall and John Henry Newman Hall.  Each building consists of ten apartments, housing 300 sophomore and junior students in total.  Each apartment features three bedrooms, a kitchen, bathroom and dining area. Laundry facilities, vending machines and a refuse room are located in each building.  Scholars Commons is conveniently located next to the Campus Field and William H. Off Campus University-leased Apartments

Parkridge
Located approximately one mile off campus, this area houses 200 upper class students in apartment and townhouse styles facilities.  Co-educational by apartment or townhouse, Parkridge provides its residents with a unique style of community living that fosters the camaraderie and lifelong friendships students have developed through their years as underclassmen.

Taft Commons
Located approximately 3 miles off campus, Taft Commons houses 110 students in apartment style housing. Each fully furnished apartment features three bedrooms, a living room, kitchen and two bathrooms. The complex has its own laundry facilities and a community room.  Taft's wide, open hallways and small number of residents provides an environment where upperclassmen can truly get to know their neighbors, while still having enough privacy for their academic pursuits.

Oakwood Garden Apartments
Located approximately 1 mile off campus, Oakwood is our specialty housing unit that houses upperclassmen who meet certain GPA and other requirements.  While a limited number of four-person apartments are available, most Oakwood apartments house two students and feature one bedroom, and ample common living space in each unit. 

Park Royal
Located approximately 2 miles from central campus, Park Royal provides two and four-person apartments for upperclassmen.  Each apartment is fully equipped, furnished, and ready for upperclassmen who are ready to explore what it is like to live off campus, but to still maintain all of the conveniences and services that University housing provides.
