Gathering Financial Assistance Information and Application Process

STUDENTS ARE TO REQUIRED:
1. Complete the CSS PROFILE Application by the appropriate deadline date.
2. Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
- The application can only be completed after January 1.
- Go to www.fafsa.ed.gov to complete an application online.
- School Code for FAFSA is #001403.
Once forms are completed and the student has been accepted to Sacred Heart University, a Financial Assistance Award package will be made available for the student to view online through SHUawards: 
Students can access financial assistance information online including:
- VIEW YOUR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE AWARDS.
- Accept your awards.
- View the status of your application.
- A list of documents received and documents outstanding
- Monitor the status of student loans for the current year
Receiving your ID number and Pin number to SHUawards:
Once you are accepted into Sacred Heart University, a seven digit ID number and Pin will be provided to you by the Office of Student Financial Assistance so you can monitor your award, review required information and pending documents or forms.
