“The secret in education lies in respecting the student” ~Ralph Waldo Emerson
We are pleased with your interest in Sacred Heart University. The staff in the Admissions Office knows that this is a very important decision for you as you begin to consider where it is that you will spend the four years of your college education – the place that you will call “home.”
Sacred Heart University is distinct in its unwavering commitment to the growth and development of each student, supporting the individual's academic, career and civic pursuits. Small class size and regular interaction with our distinguished faculty are measures of academic quality that only begin to define the degree and consistency of individualized care that is the norm at our University. The care, with which every student is selected, welcomed, advised and ushered into University life, and supported through the Admissions process is a testament to an institutional philosophy. The Admissions Counselors who help you through the application process honor you as an individual and focus on you as a whole person.
The process to apply for full-time undergraduate admissions begins with an application, which we would be pleased to mail to you if you complete the on-line inquiry card or you may submit an on-line application. In addition to the application, we will need the following: - High School transcript including your senior year grades
- Letter of recommendation
- SAT or ACT scores
- $50 application fee
