| | | | TRANSFER OF CREDITS POLICY Credit will be awarded for courses that carry a grade of C or better and that parallel Sacred Heart University offerings. The University reserves the right to examine selected courses to determine whether or not their content and quality fit the University's purpose and goals. Sacred Heart University will accept a maximum of 66 credits from two-year colleges and 90 credits from four-year institutions.
Please note: Transfer students under this system must complete at least 60 credits for a bachelor's degree or 30 credits for an associate's degree at Sacred Heart University to be eligible to graduate with an honors designation.
The University will grant 45 credits in the appropriate curriculum areas to those students who have a RN diploma from an accredited institution. This is not applicable toward the Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing, but can be applied to another major area.
Sacred Heart University accepts certain courses from the American Institute of Banking (AIB) and applies them, as appropriate, to the associate's degree programs in Accounting and Business and to baccalaureate degree programs in Accounting, Business Administration and Finance.
