Student who participated in our Rome, Italy Study Abroad Program
Sacred Heart University undergraduate students are invited to apply to the Sacred Heart University Study Abroad Program at the American University of Rome. Through this program Sacred Heart University and AUR partner to provide Sacred Heart University students with opportunities to explore layers of history and culture, both ancient and modern; to experience a vibrant educational environment that balances both the liberal arts and professional disciplines; and to participate in a global community of students and faculty from around the world that encourages respectful dialogue in the classroom, in public forums, and in social activities.
AUR overlooks the historical center and is located on top of the Janiculum, Rome's highest hill. The campus includes a four-story villa which houses student lounges, classrooms, and art studios. An adjacent newly renovated building houses the library, computer laboratories, faculty offices, and additional classrooms.
