LABORATORIES
The University has four biology laboratories: a general biology laboratory, an anatomy and physiology/ systems physiology laboratory, a cellular/ molecular laboratory and an ecology/-organismal laboratory. It also has two instrumental research laboratories (cell/molecular biology and neurobiology) and a climate-controlled greenhouse.
Modern equipment is available for such techniques as electrophoresis, spectrophotometry, high-speed centrifugation, recombinant DNA, multitemperature incubation, oscillography, histological preparation, cell culture, micro-injection/ manipulation, digital data and image acquisition, fluorescence microscopy, animal and plant physiology experiments and aquatic and terrestrial environmental studies.
