Criminal Justice ClubThe Criminal Justice Club consists of all students interested in the field of criminal justice, both majors and non-majors. Club members create a program for the semester. They invite experts in the field to speak to the members and they visit criminal justice sites. Students may also participate in professional criminal justice conferences.

Mock Trial Team
The Sacred Heart University Mock Trial Team competes against other colleges and universities under the auspices of the American Mock Trial Association, the NCAA of mock trials. The team, which holds try-outs every fall, is designed for anyone who wants to attend law school, likes to debate, or loves movies about the law or the criminal justice system. Each year, the team competes against other colleges and universities using a trial fact pattern provided by the AMTA. Students assume the roles of lawyers and witnesses and are judged by legal professionals in how they handle the civil or criminal trial case for the year. In the past, the team has faced regional powerhouses such as New York University and Columbia University and attends the regional championships held every February at St. John's University.
