The Sacred Heart University Band will be traveling for their first international tour to Ireland in January of 2012.  The band will depart on January 9th and will begin their tour in Limerick and Adare.  The trip will include visits to Dingle, home of Sacred Heart University's Center for Irish Studies, Killarney, and Dublin.  There will be several performances with local ensembles as well as plenty of time for sight-seeing and experiencing Irish culture.  There will also be time to experience the natural beauty of Ireland with visits to scenic wonders such as the Cliffs of Mohrer and of course the Blarney Stone!
