Originally from Connecticut, Leslie moved to the California Bay Area after a short stint at UConn. After graduating from UC Berkeley with a BA in Psychology, she was hired as an administrative assistant to the Dean of Student Life in the Student Activities office there. That office handled at least 100 student clubs and organizations in addition to 41 fraternities and sororities; needless to say that was a very active Activities office! Back in CT, she and her husband Matthew have raised three children--James, Elizabeth, and Douglas. In Stratford, she has worked in community theater for many years, was a volunteer musical event planner for the local Episcopalian church, and was a docent and Program Director for the Stratford Historical Society. Previous to working at SHU, she had been an administrative assistant for 6 years at a local Lutheran Church. She is thrilled to be back on a campus and looks forward to a long association with the wonderful community here at SHU!
