FAVORITE COURSES
I really loved my financial accounting and reporting class. I've always liked working with numbers, and the idea of doing that in the corporate world fascinated me. My financial accounting class was the first accounting course I ever took at the college level, and it really opened my eyes to what goes on in the real business world.

PROUDEST ACCOMPLISHMENTS
I'm really proud of the fact that I've been able to balance school, track and extracurricular activities. It's been an intense three years. I was also very proud of earning a New England championship in the 55-meter hurdles my freshman year.

BIGGEST SURPRISE
I came to Sacred Heart for two reasons: because of the John F. Welch College of Business, and because I wanted to do track at the college level and Sacred Heart's track team won a conference championship the year I was applying to colleges. I was pretty surprised when I got to campus and saw that the track facility I'd seen when I first came to visit was completely gone! It turns out that the University was just renovating; we got a brand-new track in its place.

WHAT'S NEXT
I was lucky enough to land an internship with KPMG, one of the so-called Big Four public accounting firms, last summer. I'll be there again next summer. It's an enlightening experience to apply classroom theories in a corporate accounting setting. I hope to be in the company's internship abroad program, because I've never traveled outside the country. I'd be excited to experience what it's like to live and work in a different culture.
