The Office of Instructional Technology (OIT) supports faculty in the application of appropriate computer-based educational technologies as tools of instruction both in the classroom and at a distance. The Instructional Technology Center, located in the Ryan-Matura Library, room L202, is currently staffed by a full-time director with a background in educational technology, instructional design, curriculum and multimedia development.
The Office of Instructional Technology:

Provides a campus resource for instructional technology integration, instructional design for onsite and online learning, and professional development for faculty members seeking skills to support these efforts

Sponsors workshops and one-on-one consultation services addressing technology integration planning, course design and development, and technical skill-building

Provides administration for the online learning management system and other web-enhanced course offerings

Researches and disseminates new instructional technologies and teaching strategies which enhance learning outcomes through the integration of technology
