Pi Mu Epsilon is the national honorary society in mathematics.  It was founded on May 25, 1914 at Syracuse University,  Pi Mu Epsilon currently has  348 Chapters, Sacred Heart being the 337^th.  Pi Mu Epsilon is not only an honor to be a member of for its prestige, but they also promote undergraduate activity at national conferences by giving travel support.
