Pi Mu Epsilon is the national honorary society in mathematics. It was founded on May 25, 1914 at Syracuse University, Pi Mu Epsilon currently has 348 Chapters, Sacred Heart being the 337
th. Pi Mu Epsilon is not only an honor to be a member of for its prestige, but they also promote undergraduate activity at national conferences by giving travel support.
