There were three College faculty members honored at the Founders Day celebration held on March 16, 2011.
Three faculty members from The College of Education and Health Professions were each honored for 15 years of service to the University.
Dr. David A. Cameron, 
Clinical assistant professor and director of the Human Anatomy Lab, Dr. Cameron earned his Ph.D. in pathokinesiology from NYU. He is engaged in clinical Physical Therapy practice at Sacred Heart University Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation Center. He is the coordinator for semester one in the Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program, and he teaches human anatomy and kinesiology in semesters one and four in the DPT program.

Dr. Kathleen S. Fries,
Assistant professor and director of the undergraduate Nursing (BSN) program, Dr. Kathleen Fries earned her Ph.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Nursing. She oversaw the development and recruitment efforts for nursing student-faculty mission trips to provide supervised nursing care to impoverished Guatemalan women and infants. She assists the Admissions office in identifying and recruiting qualified student applicants to our First Professional degree BSN program and has managed significant enrollment growth in the Undergraduate Nursing program. She is also the coordinator of the women's health course.
Dr. Terry W. Neu, 
Assistant professor in the Isabelle Farrington School of Education at the Griswold, Connecticut, campus, Dr. Neu is a Ph.D. alumnus of the University of Connecticut. He is a recipient of the Joseph Grau award for Action for Justice, he has provided leadership for and participated in SHU's El Salvador mission since 1999 and is the author of "Helping Boys in School." Dr. Neu teaches a variety of topics including education of students with special needs, multiple intelligences, and curriculum for gifted and talented.
