Series 7 licensure qualifies the individual for registration with all self-regulatory organizations to trade corporate stocks and bonds, municipal securities and other financial services. In order to take the exam, a FINRA member brokerage firm, a self-regulatory organization (SRO), exchange or state regulator must sponsor the test taker.
