For Catholic School Teachers - Archdiocese of Hartford
All Catholic Educators newly hired in the Archdiocese of Hartford must complete the CR program within a period of 4 years. The program brochure and applications are available in the Archdiocesan Schools Office or the teacher's individual school.Certificate requirements - completion of six (of the ten) courses offered. Attendance at all sessions is mandatory, as is a brief, educationally practical reaction paper.
- Where - At site locations throughout the Archdiocese. Every effort is made to rotate the courses in each geographical area.
- When - all courses are offered on weekday afternoons from 2:30-4:30pm, usually in October and March. Courses are not sequential, and may be taken on a rolling basis.
- Tuition - tuition for each course is $125.
Registration- after having been hired at one of the Catholic schools in the Archdiocese, the teacher registers for courses directly with The Center for Spirituality and Ministry at Sacred Heart University. See web home page for contact information.
