ROSEMARY DANAHER, MBA, MS
Education: MS in Mathematics, Fairfield University; MBA concentration in Computer Science, University of New Haven; BS in Mathematics, Fairfield University; Six Sigma Black Belt certification – General Electric Co.

Career Interests: Strong interest in the biological sciences and the use of statistical methods in hypothesis testing as it relates to biology.

Courses Usually Taught: MA140 – Pre-calculus; MA151 – Calc I; MA131 – Introduction to Statistics

Biography: After 22 years as an IT professional and manager I returned to my ‘first love’ and earned an MS degree in Mathematics from Fairfield University, with a concentration in Statistics.

After teaching as an adjunct for one semester I was hired as a full time instructor in 2004. As a parent of two teenagers I can fully appreciate the demands that are placed on our young people. My teaching philosophy attempts to create a balance between intellectual stimulation, compassion, and humanism, challenging students to think critically, in a ‘safe’ environment.
