Professionally, Dr. Beauvais has worked as a psychiatric and mental health nurse at Silver Hill Hospital and was a clinical case manager at Value Behavioral Health. Prior to joining Sacred Heart University in 2006, she worked for Stamford Hospital for 11 years in various leadership positions such as the nurse manager of the psychiatric and pediatric units, case manager, and performance improvement coordinator. In addition, Dr. Beauvais was the Magnet Coordinator that successfully led Stamford Hospital in the pursuit of Magnet recognition. The Magnet Recognition ProgramTM is a prestigious designation administered by the American Nurses Credentialing Center for excellence in nursing practice.
