
The Master of Science in Chemistry program meets the needs of students and the chemical industry by offering a unique opportunity for career and personal advancement to employees of the chemical and pharmaceutical industry, while also serving the industry to employ and recruit better qualified applicants.
The Department of Chemistry offers a Master of Science degree in three distinct tracks: the traditional
Chemistry Thesis Track;
Chemistry Non-Thesis Track and
Molecular Biochemistry Non-Thesis Track. The non-thesis tracks have an emphasis on coursework, while the thesis track has an emphasis on both coursework and original research.
Applicants should have a strong undergraduate record from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry or related science.
