Courses Usually Taught: Mathematics for Elementary School Teachers, Elementary Statistics with Business Applications, PreCalculus, Calculus II & III, Linear Algebra, Mathematical Structures & Proofs, and History of Mathematics.
Biography: Dr. Julianna Connelly Stockton joined the Sacred Heart Faculty as an Assistant Professor in 2010. While finishing her Ph.D., she taught mathematics for two years at Baruch College, CUNY. Her teaching interests include inquiry-based learning, incorporation of historical sources in mathematics courses, and the education of prospective K-12 teachers. Dr. Stockton is a member of the Mathematical Association of America and the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics, and is a Project NExT 2011-2012 Fellow.
