Emily Daigle, 6th Yr CAS '09, has been named the new dean of students at Wethersfield High School in Wethersfield, Connecticut. She began her career as an occupational therapist in Maine and then moved to Wethersfield, Connecticut where she taught in the adaptive living skills program at the high school for four years. She was also a class adviser and a club adviser.
 
Khalil Graham, MAT '10, is the 2010 recipient of the Alma Exley Scholarship. The scholarship was established in 1995 in memory of Alma Exley of West Hartford, a former teacher and an employee of the Connecticut State Department of Education. Exley envisioned the program as a way to encourage diversity in the teaching profession by recognizing and supporting outstanding persons of color who are preparing for careers in education.

Mr. Graham has been accepted into a doctoral program in educational leadership at the University of Kentucky.

Alice Hutchinson, MAT '01, Democrat Candidate for State Senate 24th District. Ms. Hutchinson taught in public and private schools from 1998 until 2003 when she was elected as Bethel's First Selectman. For Hutchinson, its about people, the people of Connecticut. Topping the list of issues for Hutchinson is strengthening the economy by creating and attracting jobs to the area, supporting small business, making education a priority and supporting affordable healthcare and our police and fire departments.

Casey A. Lyth, MAT '07 is currently employed as a kindergarten teacher at Jefferson Science Magnet School in Norwalk, Connecticut.
