Staffed with 11 student Resident Assistants and 1 Residence Hall Director, Merton Hall is a great environment for first-year students to get to know each other and prepare for academic success

Who is Thomas Merton?
Thomas Merton was a 20th century American Catholic writer. A Trappist Monk, a poet, social activist, and a student of other religions, he was ordained a Priest in 1949. Merton wrote more than 70 books on topics including spirituality, social justice, and a quiet pacifism, as well as scores of essays and reviews.
