The Connecticut Literacy Specialist Program (CLSP) is a 6th degree that prepares graduates to promote literacy in a variety of positions within a school system. Graduates of the program will have the skills to lead staff development, run intervention clinics, chair appropriate departments, manage summer programs, write grants or provide all of these services in a single school setting.
Program Overview
| The CLSP degree required completion of 36 credits. 21 of the credits earned can be applied to your 102 Certification. |
| Students must complete all requirements for the CLSP degree within six years of the date of completion of the first course. |
| Courses only at the "EDR" level are applicable to the CLSP degree and 102 Certification |
| Students must maintain a cumulative 3.0 GPA |
